Opened in the Fall of 2001, Blackie's Attic & Studio was conceived to bring native american art to the Grand Rapids area. The unique nature of the store allowed it to expand in to other areas of art as well.
In the Summer of 2002, Blackie's Attic & Studio moved to its new home in the heart of East Town. With the new location we our able to showcase more art for you to enjoy.
Most art in our store was obtained through travels to various indian reservations and pow wows, where we were able to meet and talk with the artists themselves.
In the future we hope to bring new and exciting displays of art to our store and the Grand Rapids area.
